Creating an Image with AI
The Unlimited plan of Write allows you to create the digital or paperback cover in a few simple steps.
If you already have a high-resolution cover image in jpg (at least 300 dpi) that you have chosen for your book, you just have to upload it in Write following the wizard that helps you through the entire cover creation process, both for the ebook and the paperback book.
If, on the other hand, you don't have a cover image yet but you already know what you would like it to look like, in order to best represent the content of your book, Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be of help. Here's how to proceed:
Log in to Write making sure you have the Unlimited plan and click on CREATE A NEW, selecting Create a cover.
The wizard will ask you to choose between the ebook cover and the paperback cover. Regardless of the type of cover you need to create, on the screen dedicated to uploading the image you can click on FORWARD without uploading any file, because you will be able to create the image later, using the AI tool that Write makes available to you.

How to Create a Cover Image with AI
To create the cover image with the help of Artificial Intelligence, just click on the brush symbol, then on "Choose image" and, in the screen that opens, select "Generate the image using AI".
To generate your image, you need to give the AI as detailed instructions as possible by entering a text (prompt) that describes as accurately as possible the image to be created. Here below is an example of a fairly simple prompt that generated the cover image shown in the screen below.
The prompt says: In the foreground, the image of a white origami-style boat inside a transparent glass bottle on a fine sand beach. In the background, the calm and blue sea. The sky is clear and intense.

If you are satisfied with the image generated by the AI, you can proceed with modifying the same image and/or the text on the cover using the useful Write tools, as we explain here for the ebook and here for the paperback.
If, on the other hand, the image does not reflect what you had in mind and you prefer to try to generate another one, improving or completely changing your prompt, you just have to click on "Delete image" and repeat the steps.
How Credits Work
The Unlimited Write plan allows you to use a maximum of 5 credits per month for generating images with the help of Artificial Intelligence. Each time you generate an image, a credit is deducted until they are exhausted.
The credits are renewed every month and are not cumulative.
