Editing your book file:
If you want to change the book or its cover after giving the stamp of approval ("OK to publish") or after your book has gone on sale, you must purchase the service on StreetLib Market.
Remember that before giving your "Ok for Print", you can request ONE free modification.
In this case there are two possible changes:
1 - Replace the PDF (the PDF file must be in the same format and have the same number of pages as the previous one.)
2- Changes to the cover, such as modifications of the font, writing/image layout, synopsis or author biography.
(Any other type of modification cannot be made for free, and requires Book Layout Design services).
For any further modifications, you can simply not give your approval, correct the file yourself, and then submit it again for publication.
Removing your book from sale:
To remove your paper book from the online stores where we distributed it, please write to email@example.com so we can take care of it for you. (we are working on updating the Print app to allow you to manage this on your own in the future.)
Please note that Amazon may have printed in advance a few copies of your book (maximum 10), before receiving an order (so that they'd be able to send orders promptly, especially if the book in question is rather successful). Amazon users are also allowed to sell used copies of your book.
Consequently, a bit of time may pass before your request - modification or removal - is entirely effective as they'll first sell the copies already printed. If you need all the old copies to be removed right away, you can of course always buy them.
The product page on Amazon will remain even if the book is unavailable for print but this won't prevent you from doing whatever you'd like with your book in the future. You can leave it as is, put it back on sale through us with a new updated version or through another distributor or publisher, as you wish.
