How to listen an audiobook
Audiobooks, increasingly popular among readers, are a great alternative to eBooks or paper. They can be listened to on different devices:
On computer
- download and install Chrome's Readium
- download the Audio-eBook from the email received after purchase
- open the installed program, click on "Add Books" if the program is Caliber, the + icon at the top right if it is Readium, and choose the Audio-eBook file (which should be in the Download folder of your computer) .
On iPad/iPhone
- download the free Menestrello application from the App Store
- download the Audio-eBook from your personal library on the StreetLib Store
- choose to open the file with Menestrello.
On Android
- download the Menestrello application from Google Play
- download the Audio-eBook from your personal library on the StreetLib Store
- open the Menestrello application and select the file from the resources of your device.
Instead, here's how to extract only the audio from the Audio-eBook
- change the .epub extension to the .zip extension;
- unzip the file and extract the “OEBPS” folder on the desktop;
- open the OEBPS folder: inside you will find the “AUDIO” folder, which contains all the audio tracks that make up the audiobook;
- drag this "AUDIO" folder to the desktop and rename it with the title of the audiobook;
- open and check the content: there will be all the MP3 files that make up the audiobook;
- transfer the mp3 audio files on any MP3 player, on a USB key, on a tablet, smartphone or other devices, to listen to the audiobook.
