Agreement update March 1, 2025

StreetLib's mission is to offer you a state-of-the-art publishing platform, designed to help independent Publishers and Authors build successful digital businesses. We are committed to making our service the most comprehensive and efficient in the market, we’re improving the platform and continuously refining our service, and as a result, we are changing our contract with publishers.

  • Acceptance of our Legal Policies: We have consolidated the Terms and Conditions of access to the StreetLib service, the Privacy Policy (to clarify how your data is processed), and our Content Policy into a single document. You can review the full text at the following link.
  • Distribution of free works: You can continue using StreetLib to distribute your works for free if you wish, but we ask that you contribute to transaction costs: €0.10 per ebook download and €0.20 per audiobook download. You will have full access to sales data for each title, allowing you to flexibly decide when to make a work available for free or remove it from your catalog.
  • Adjustment of print distribution costs: For each print distribution sale, we will recognize up to 50% of the earnings (net of printing costs), with a variable percentage depending on the distribution channels available: Amazon, StreetLib Channels, National Distribution.
  • Digital returns: If an end user returns a digital work purchased through one of the online bookstores connected to StreetLib, StreetLib will deduct the corresponding amount from your earnings while retaining our service fee for the provided distribution service.
  • ISBN request limit: ISBNs will continue to be provided for free; however, to prevent abuse, we have introduced a maximum limit of 5 per day and 100 in total. If you need more, no problem—just contact us.
These changes will allow us to improve the tools and services we provide. We are proud to support you in managing your publishing business, in line with the evolution of the market, increasingly digital, integrated, and international.
The new Conditions and Terms can be consulted here and will be effective March 1st, 2025. You can accept them the first time you access your account after this date. If you do not wish to accept the new conditions, you can deactivate your account, without any cost.
