Print requires a PDF of your book with the correct layout.
You can create your PDF in three ways:
N.B we strongly advise not to import a PDF to create another PDF with SL Write, because the result will of poor quality and not suitable for printing. PDF print requests created in Write from another PDF will be rejected.
2) Upload your PDF
Once your PDF is ready, you can upload it to Print. First, head to the dashboard and click on the Print app.
Then complete the form with all the requested information, and upload your book and cover file.
Once finished, click on "Save your book."
The cost of processing is $40. However, processing is free if the file and cover were created using Write.
If so, simply write us at firstname.lastname@example.org to avoid paying the fee.
If you paid the fee, we will email you within 10 working days to let you know that your project is ready.
You must validate the final file before distribution via the Print app. You are allowed one free modification; any further changes will cost. Please contact us at email@example.com for any modifications.
Your printed book will be distributed in the following stores:
Amazon.it/com/de/es/fr/co.uk, StreetLib Stores, IBS.it, LaFeltrinelli, Webster, Goodbook.it, Libreria universitaria.
You can then order author copies by clicking on the blue printer icon as seen in the photo below. The quote will be calculated based on the number of copies.
We will shortly be adding an online calculator so that you can have an exact quote before validating your project.
N.B: We are currently in a transition phase with Print. Therefore, if you only want printed copies for you, without distributing your book online, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The price of ordering paper copies for yourself depends on the book's characteristics and the number of copies. A precise quote will be given in the Print app.
When it comes to distribution, the costs of printing, on top of our 10% distribution fee, will be taken from your final revenues. Use our revenue calculator to find out precisely how much you will earn.
